About the Role:
The Accountant-General Ledger performs the day-to-day activities in the Accounting and Reporting function of the Finance Department.
Responsibilities:
A- Perform audits on financial data to assure its accuracy and truthfulness.
B- Ensure that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards.
C- Enter financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis, as well as preparing reports.
D- Perform account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct.
E- Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.
Requirements:
A- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting.
B- 5 years of relevant experience.
C- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA/ACA/CMA).
