Responsibilities::
A- Investigate instances of potential Anti-Money Laundering activity and/or suspicious financial activity with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
B- Effectively monitor merchants’ activities with regard to detecting and reporting suspicious activity, including the potential offenses of money laundering and terrorism financing.
C- Exercise excellent independent judgment and discretion when making decisions or recommendations in relation to each alert/case investigation.
D- Ability to work efficiently with an attention to detail in investigations, analysis, and writing of narrative style reports designed to be delivered to regulators.
Requirements:
A- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Legal, Justice or a comparable field.
B- Minimum of 6+ years’ related experience, 2+ years’ supervisory experience.
C- Have a good knowledge of Financial Crime Investigation, as well as knowledge of the local regulations and legislation on AML/CTF and sanctions.
D- At a minimum, an understanding of Underwriting, KYC, AML, PCI DSS, and Card Schemes’ Regulations.
