1- Safety Specialist – Engineering

Job Purpose:
To investigate and conduct incidents, accidents ,safety hazards and events involving the operations, in accordance with the relevant internal and external standards and practices, and provide specialist support to the Safety Manager, on specific aviation safety matters.

Job Responsibilities:
A- Liaise with the operational departments to ensure their timely response to the collection of the documentation and information related to an investigation of a safety event. Collect, share and review with the Safety Manager the responses received from the operations/ line departments related to the investigation of the safety hazard or event and the recommended corrective and preventive actions.
B– Lead in-depth analysis of safety data and present statistical summaries to the Safety Manager highlighting significant trends and occurrences. Act as a delegate for the Safety Manager, in Senior Management meetings as and when needed.

Requirements:
A- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
B- Aviation Safety / Flight Safety : 5+ Years.
C- Experience in aviation industry with major emphasis in Safety.
