About Role:
The role will understand all aspects of an Amazon Fulfillment Center while focusing on its automation technologies (conveyance, sortation, robotics) and storage solutions. This individual will be responsible for designing and delivering state-of-the-art material handling, storage systems and innovations as well as managing internal teams and vendor relations in order to successfully deliver optimization projects within Amazon’s Fulfillment Centers.
Responsibilities:
A- End-to-end ownership for large-scale engineering projects within live facilities.
B- Lead critical path items, dive deep on technical details and provide innovative solutions to resolve issues.
C- Lead cross functional team such as Operations, change, safety, maintenance, IT, software, finance.
D- Assess and communicate project status, drive escalations on potential risks and delays across multiple teams and leadership.
E- Manage vendors team on-site during execution, enforcing highest safety standards and minimum Operational disruptions.
Requirements:
A- Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
B- Technical leadership and project management experience in development and implementation of large scale and complex engineering projects within live warehouses.
C- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
D- Experience of leading internal teams and management of vendor relation.
