FIVE Hotels & Resorts is the hospitality division of Dubai-based real estate group, FIVE Holdings. The hospitality operator opened its flagship hotel and residences, FIVE Palm Jumeirah Dubai, in March 2017.
1- Duty Engineer
Full Time
Dubai, UAE
Responsibilities:
A- Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues.
B- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
C- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio). Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings.
D- Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
E- Communicate each day’s activities and problems that occur to the other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.
Requirements:
A- Diploma or Post-Secondary graduate of a relevant Engineering Technology related to building operations.
B- Experience in pool and spa equipment operation and maintenance.
C- 3 years’ experience in hospitality or hospital engineering operations, previous supervisory experience.
D- Strong computer skills for BAS, word processing, and spread sheets, Ability to read shop drawings.
E- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
