About Krystal Restaurants:
It was on October 24, 1932, when the nation’s first Krystal restaurant opened its doors on the corner of Seventh and Cherry Streets in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee amid the harsh financial times of the Great Depression. Its founders, Rody Davenport Jr. and J. Glenn Sherrill, believed that despite the severe economic upheaval of the times, people would patronize a restaurant that was kept spotlessly clean, provided courteous service and offered a good meal at the lowest possible price. Proving this theory true, the restaurant’s first customer, French Jenkins, ordered six Krystals and a cup of coffee, all for the bargain price of 35 cents.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Creates a great energy in the restaurant and sets the team up for success.
2. Empowers the team through Yes I Can.
3. Communicates effectively and engages the team in regular huddles.
4. Demonstrates commitment to goals and inspires others to deliver excellent performance.
5. Serves those they lead through behaviors, actions and decisions.
6. Recognizes the team with U-Rock and Fresh, Friendly and Fast recognition tools.
Requirements:
1. Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 3 years management experience.
3. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of force frequently to move objects.
4. Ability to carry products/boxes and miscellaneous items weighing no more than 50 pounds.
5. Excellent people leadership and guest service skills required.
