Position Responsibilities:
1. Maintain proficiency/awareness of static guard post duties.
2. Plan and execute security support for SpaceX operations.
3. Conduct advanced research and analysis in support of SpaceX security missions
4. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
5. Conduct and review risk assessments of critical SpaceX facilities.
6. Respond to emergency situations and provide on-scene leadership to others (Fire/Medical/Suspicious Person/etc.).
7. Learn advanced skillsets (EMT/Investigations/Surveillance/VIP Escort/Security Hardware).
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
2. 8 years of combined experience in the US military, sworn law enforcement, overseas security contracting, or advanced corporate security realm.
3. At least 1 year of executive protection, mobile asset protection, or emergency response team experience.
4. Bachelor’s or advanced degree.
5. 1 year on the SpaceX Security Team as a Security Officer – Level 2.
6. Military deployment and/or counterinsurgency experience.
