1- Senior Auditor

About The Role:
The Auditor will be responsible for carrying out audits as per the Approved Annual Audit Plan, will conduct special reviews, assignments, and investigations across GEMS Schools and School Support Center (Head Office). Working within the remit of the Group Internal Audit and providing professional audit service to highlight areas of risk and control gaps/deficiencies, and provide solutions to mitigate identified risk. The job may entail a certain level of travel, both within and outside of the UAE.
Responsibilities:
A- Carry out audits as per the Approved IA Plan covering all GEMS operational areas within budgeted project time. This includes full-scope audits, special reviews & investigations, limited scope reviews, Health & Safety reviews.
Requirements:
A- Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or accounting, followed by an International professional audit qualification such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, or CA. Alternatively, demonstrate that the candidate is working towards a relevant professional qualification.
B- 6-8 years of experience in Audit, preferably in Internal Audit, Big 4 experience is a plus.
