About Transportation Security Administration:
The Transportation Security Administration is an agency of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that has authority over the security of the traveling public in the United States. It was created as a response to the September 11 attacks.
1- Transportation Security Officer (TSO)
Part Time
Pay Scale: SV D
Salary: $16.91 to $24.16 per hour
Columbus,OH, USA
Responsibilities:
1. Operating various screening equipment and technology to identify dangerous objects in baggage, cargo and on passengers, and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft.
2. Controlling terminal entry and exit points.
3. Interacting with the public, giving directions and responding to inquiries.
4. Retaining and implementing knowledge of all applicable Standard Operating Procedures, demonstrating responsible and dependable behavior, and is open to change and adapts to new information or unexpected obstacles.
Requirements:
1. Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National and at least 18 years of age.
2. Pass a drug screening, medical evaluation, and background investigation.
3. Subject to post-employment random drug and/or alcohol testing.
4. Must be available to work various shifts and overtime, as needed.
